The summer property tax bills have been mailed and are payable thru September 14th without any penalty. The Treasurer will collect taxes at the township hall every Wednesday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or payments can be mailed to her at the above address. Any questions can be answered by calling the hall at 786-6200 or the Treasurer at 384-6962. You may notice this summer bill has increased a little in the amount due. This is because part of the County Tax is being moved from the winter bill to the summer bill ($1.67 per thousand of taxable value) per the State Legislature.
Available from the Treasurer on Wednesdays or by calling her for arrangements the garbage vouchers can may be picked up and used through the end of August. Each homeowner is eligible for one voucher worth up to $30 at the Delta County Landfill. They may be used for one visit to the landfill for anything. The landfill accepts trash, tires, computers, televisions, etc. As a reminder you may drop off recyclables and household wastes such as paint, at no cost, anytime the landfill is open.
